DESCRIPTION
1976 PONTIAC TRANS AM. $10,000 2ND owner since 1982. Original sheet metal in excellent condition. The rear lower 1/4s have been repaired, where the only rust appears on the entire car. Vehicle has been garaged from 1982 till now. Drive train has been replaced along with front seats, headliner, carpet, shifter and radio, front header panel and grill inserts. Everything else is 100 original and in excellent condition. This car has been my baby since I took ownership. It has been owner-maintained and extremely well cared for. Below is an inclusive list of all work done to the car. Body Rear lower 1/4s repaired. Second paint job Viper white and prismatine metallic. Front header panel replaced from cracking (OEM)new. Grill inserts replaced (chrome pealed off) Battery mounted in! trunk along with shut off switch. Drive shaft safety loop installed with ladder bars. All new front suspension bushings and components. New rear WS6 leaf springs. Carter electric fuel pump. Motor Built be the machine shop Hyattsville MD. 455-485HP Crank Balanced/blue printed stroke equalized. EAGLE RODS. TRW pistons and pins. Melling high volume oil pump. Hardened pump shaft. Moroso 8qt oil pan. Custom crane cam and springs and valves 211 intake 177 ex. Cloys true roller timing chain and hardened gears. Rhodes lifters. Hardened push rods. Harlen sharp roller rockers and locks. Performer RPM intake. AED 750 DP-DF carb flows 830cfm. MSD ignition box. This is a torque monster and has run a best of 12.21 at 117mph on cheater slicks in 1/4 mile and is very streetable ! TRANSMISSION T-400 street and strip built by Johns Transmission Waldorf MD. 1800 RPM stall converter by Ger. Trans cooler. REAR 1969 Chevy Z28 12 bolt with 355 gears. Drive shaft has hardened U joints.
