| DESCRIPTION |
| This beautiful MUSTANG has been completely gone through, restored and then modified by a mechanic. Almost every mechanical piece is new or rebuilt. The engine is a 351 Windsor which was rebuilt in Jan 2005. The transmission is an FMX 3-Speed Automatic and has been rebuilt and a torque converter has been put on it. The locking differential rear end was rebuilt within the year. The front disc brakes were rebuilt in 2005. This car has had 3 owners including us and it has been in Southern California all of its life. In fact, it has the vintage black and yellow California license plates. There is no rust; bodywork was done in winter 2004 and has been continuously touched up since. The Mustang is painted a glossy LACQUER BLACK. A front spoiler was added to give it a more aggressive look. New grill and new grill emblems, new weatherstripping all around, new hood scoop emblems, working hood scoop turn signal indicators are there. The undercarriage is beautiful. The floorboards, undercarriage and trunkn and engine compartment were basically rustproofed by applying rubberized undercoating to the bare metal. The engine is a beautiful with 351 powered by Ford aluminum black wrinkle valve covers. The engine was completely detailed during the rebuild. A new four barrel Edelbrock Carburetor was added along with new electronic ignition by MSD which is paired with an MSD ignition box, and MSD distributor and a Blaster 2 coil. New high end alternator and gas filters. When the engine was rebuilt the valves were bored .015 over. New fuel pump. New high output Exide battery. New radiator in 2005. All new hoses most of them are now custom aluminum hoses. New timing chain, and gears. Racing cam time gears were added. New JBA headers, FLOWMASTER mufflers. Monte carlo bar. The Mustang rides on B.F. Goodrich tires with slightly bigger wheels in the back. Adjustable Munroe air shocks allow for these wheels clearance. The front has new Munroe gas shocks. The wheels are aluminum WELD racing Pro Star Wheels with Weld center caps. There are torsion bars and a front stabilizer bar was added to help with turning. Inside the car is modified with new Mach 1 carpeting which fits into the scheme of black and red seen in the new custom upholstery found on the seats and the door panels. The STEERING WHEEL is wood actually MAHOGANY made by GRANT. The steering wheel has the Mustang running horse emblem in the center which matches the new custom classy seat belts with the same emblem. New authentic headliner and trunk mats. Also, the car comes with a great SOUND SYSTEM, a SONY XPLOD MP3 CD PLAYER an amp and SONY SPEAKERS 2x8 inch and 2x6 inch. This system gets very loud if you want but it is definitely crystal clear. The car comes with a VIPER SECURITY SYSTEM. There are custom light-up racing pedals and new headlights. I think that is most of what we put into it. We get comments and thumbs up every time we go out in it. It is definitely a street car which will satisfy any buyers need for speed but it is not out of control. The car has been meticulously upkept and modified by us. The title is clear and it has been registered recently. | |
