| 1992 dodge daytona extremely modifiedUp for sale is a 1992 dodge daytona that has been converted into the shelby edition. The body has 155k on it but only 10k on motor and clutch. I am asking 5500 obo. It as a 2.5l turbo 4 cylinder and heavy duty 5spd trans. I have put a lot of time and money into this car. Only lookin to sell due to the fact of I need a truck for school. I have gone through this thing completely. New motor and heavy duty trans and clutch. The car does need some work. could use a new paint job. orginal paint but starting to get check on the roof. and Mainly new headliner. I have new seats for it that will go with it. Work done to the motor. this motor was built by Kilpatrick Engine And Transmission. It was bored 40 over, mopar performance purple shaft cam, heavy duty race springs and hardened followers and rockers. It has custom forged venolia pistons with file fit rings which ran about 800 for the set of four. Hardened rods, heavy duty crank, melling high volume oil pump, fully studded. Its running a copper head gasket with orings which is great for high boost applications. Which this definately is. On Race gas I've put down 30 psi with spikes of 32. For everyday driving this car is running between 22 and 25psi. It has 40 injectors, bigger throttle body, adjustable accufab fuel pressure regulator, big viper race pump in the tank. port and polished head with brass valve guides, its running the FWDPerformance stage 4 computer. TurboXS boost controller and Blow Off Valve, 3 bar map sensor, the intercooler is off an Evolution with custom run pipes. Its running a Turbonetics T3/T4 hybrid turbo 50 trim large. 2.5 swingvalve with an adjustable wastegate, full turbo back 3 stainless exhaust with an HKS Carbon TI Muffler. All braided stainless turbo lines for oil and coolant. It has the A568 trans which is the strongest front wheel drive trans ever made by chrysler. Inside is a centerforce dual friction clutch. As for other modifications that I have done. THe car has 2 guages to monitor all the workings. It has an autometer boost gauge which monitors up to 30 psi of boost, and a AFR Gauge to monitor fuel mixture. It also has a 5 monster tach with shift light. Car also has a Fidanza short throw shifter in it. I easily have 12,000 into it. Obviously I'm not lookin at getting that back out of the car. I just want to get enough to get a reliable truck. the motor has only about 7k on it the clutch has about 1500 on it. Plus the car has brand new tires which only have about 7k on them too. Would be an even better car with just a little bit more work to the interior and maybe a new paint job.
