DESCRIPTION
Aptly named Busonic for its space age appearance, this car is a great example of an original early custom. The car was built by Roy Abendroth from Compton, Ca. in 1962 and is the only car he ever built. The original paint job was sprayed by the Legendary Larry Watson in a rootbeer candy with gold flake scallops. The car graced the pages of several magazines in the early 60s and won a number of sweepstakes awards as well. The car was recently resurected by current owner with no expense spared. The car was also featured in the May 2005 issue of Rod and Custom Magazine. There is plenty of documentation that goes with the car to its new home. Make this piece of history a conversation piece in your collection. Some features: Canted headlights Nerf bars Custom hand drilled lexan grille Lake pipes Fully chromed and polished nailhead engine Fog lights Roulette wheel Record player Swivel seats Ape hair interior Keyless entry Frenched 59 Caddy taillights Exhaust exits from tail fins Hydraulics (argued that this was the second car to every have hydralics intstalled)
