| DESCRIPTION |
| 1978 Lincoln Continental Limousine by Armbruster Stageway Coaches, Inc. stretch limoA classic that's fun for you AND your friends! Nice Town Car and Marks from the late 70's are usually available. Try finding a late 70's Lincoln stretch limousine in good shape. People walk up and ask questions at gas stations, stores, etc. Even toll booth attendants! Turns heads, invokes smiles, waves, and thumbs-up from all ages.I've driven this limo just about every dry weekend over the past year. Kept in closed garage. Mostly successful at avoiding rain. Pictures: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2488908Elegant charcoal metallic color with black vinyl top contrasts with chrome to set it off beautifully. Absolutely striking color for this model. The brightwork is all in great shape. 460 (yes 460, NOT the smaller 400) V8 withC6 automatic transmission. Shifts fine. 97300 miles. Numbers line up on odometer.New tires with wide white walls. New exhaust from manifolds all the way back, including muffler and resonator. New belts. New spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor. Recent brake service at all four wheels, pads, rotors, the whole bit. There may be some other stuff that was replaced that I can't remember. I have a good rapport with a local mechanic and he has gone over the car a few times and replaced anything that needed it.Weighs approximately 5800 lbs. 23 feet long. Gets about 15mpg on 60mph highway trips. 10-12mpg around town/mixed driving.Great acceleration. It can do 80mph smoothly.Second fan unit for rear passengers mounted in trunk area under rear speaker deck.A few things don't work like the AC/heat blower fan up front, the driver window, power antenna, and three of the power locks. I can hear the lock actuators when I press the switch but the metal rod is probably not connected to the lock knob and I haven't bothered to look into it. Little bit of surface rust spots underneath here and there but no holes. Some cleaning and POR15 should be all it needs. Honestly, this car is so much fun, those few things haven't even mattered to me.I have the title free and clear of any liens or encumbrances. Why, after all this am I selling? I want to trim down the collection and I need to focus time and money on my wife's Nissan Z..See more details at www.sellitnowmotors.com | |
