| 1965 Ford Mustang A-Code 4-speed Fastback, transformed to pay tribute to the legendary Shelby GT350 Door tag info: BODY 65A COLOR R TRIM D8 DATE 29A DSO 11 AXLE 1 TRANS 5 1965 Shelby GT-350 Tribute car, original A-Code / 4-speed Fastback. A wonderful, high-quality build. This 65 wears a show quality coat of its original Ivy Green color, which has been enhanced by the classic Shelby Skunk stripes and lower GT racing stripes depicting the GT-350 callouts. The body on the car has no waves, dings, or imperfections, it has a new metal hood with a Shelby scoop added (the fiberglass hood just didn’t look good enough), new front and rear valances, new complete doors (not skins), fenders, tail lights, door handles, emblems, bumpers, etc. all combined to result in a great looking, show quality car… The engine was freshened; the 4spd trans shifts perfectly, it has a new new HD clutch assy, and the car still retains its original rear end. The exhaust is the correct side exit style similar to the Shelby’s (sounds incredible!). The interior is very nice, it has no rips, tears, stains on the covers, headliner, or carpet. The wheel/tire combo is perfect for this car, the 14 x 7 AR Torque-Thrust mags and RWL Radials look great! Everything seems to work, as it should, including the Shelby gauge pod in the center dash area. Great performing manual brakes combined with manual steering give you a timeless feel of the road, and the car handles wonderfully. The suspension has been gone through and new gas shocks reside at all four corners. All systems function well - the car is very well built and would be the pride of any garage or cruise night – it’s just a joy to drive!..........flanagan111flanagan@Yahoo.Com | |
