DESCRIPTION
Miles: 52900 Body Type: Sedan Transmission: Automatic Engine: 8 - Cyl. Interior: Black Warranty: No Year: 1965 Title: Clear VIN Number: M5233467 Condition: Very good Exterior: Silver Fuel Type: Gasoline Time machine for sale The present owner was told by reliable sources that LBJ raced this model Caddy across the Texas plains at 120 mph followed by his secret service agents in identical cars trailing plumes of dust. Cadillac produced a limited number of this outstanding model, style number 68069, VIN classification number M5100001. The engine purrs with a 429 cubic inch, 340 hp motor. Acceleration is great and the ride is as smooth as silk (cadillacs from the sixties were known for their excellent ride). This car is fully equipped with: Spare tire, Fender skirts, A/C, Power bench seat, Radio, Power windows, Power door locks, Soft Ray glass windows. Black leather interior and headliner are in perfect condition. Dashboard is completely intact and in pristine condition. Ashtrays are unused, suggesting that this has always been a non-smoking vehicle. Engine and compartment are well-kept and clean. Exterior paint job is near perfect, some minor corrosion on some chrome areas. Gas tank and underside generally clean and in excellent condition. Note the condition of the original maintenance blanket in the trunk image. Minor damage to the exterior roof fabric, gas gauge non-functional, and due to being located for a time near the steel mills of Ashland, Kentucky, the chrome is slightly acid dew stained. Chrome may buff-out, or will need to be rechromed to cherry-it -out. This car was used by a funeral home to transport grieving survivors to and from the cemetery, and as such it was always treated with T.L.C. You simply will not believe the beautiful overall condition of this machine. With only 52,900 miles driven over the last forty-two years, the engine is just barely broken-in. Please review the images of this fine vintage American vehicle. Contact Jim Watson, owner and operator of Watson Tax Service, for further details, or to inspect this beautifull Caddy.
