| DESCRIPTION |
| 1967 Ford Thunderbird Owners: Dennis and Tamara Brown, 509-627-5277 History of the Car: We are basically the second family to own this car. It was purchased brand new in 1967 by Mr. and Mrs. Yount residing in Richland, WA. Mr. Yount was the primary driver and we have records to show that the car was regularly maintained, always garaged, and kept in Richland, which is important because Richland does not get very much snow and does not salt its roads in the winter. The car does not have cancer or rust on it. Anyway, Mr. Yount passed away and his widow was afraid to drive and so only drove the car a couple of times a week and never very far. Mrs. Yount passed away in 1998 and the car was inherited by their son, Jim Yount. Since we are friends with Jim, he told us that he was putting the car up for sale. Initially our parents bought the car and we purchased it from them just a few months later. We have owned the car since 1999. From all of this, we know that: -The car has always been garaged -Why it has such low miles, under 60,000 original miles -The car has received good care and maintenance over the years -The car has always been in Richland, WA and has no rust or cancer 1.The car is in amazing original condition. It has its original vinyl roof, paint, upholstery, 8-track player (of course it works and is original to the car!) and carpet and all are in amazing well-preserved condition. It also has its original 8-track tape manufactured by the Ford Company talking about this car’s various features and functions. We also have the original maintenance credit card issued with the car when it was purchased new. There is a small silver plaque shaped like a T-Bird on the dash board identifying the Yount’s as the original owners. 2.Under 60,000 original miles 3.Power steering, brakes and automatic transmission 4.390 cu inch V-8 5.Factory air conditioning-and yes, it still works though it will need to be recharged 6.2 Door Landau 7.Tires are newer and are in very good shape (less than 5,000 miles on them) 8.Breakaway steering wheel 9.Sequential tail lights 10.Hideaway front head-lights 11.Paint is an off-white with a black vinyl roof. Interior color is a soft green/gold. All original and in beautiful condition. 12.The car runs very well, just purrs along the highway, and all of its components work as well: air conditioning, sequential tail lights, 8-track player, radio etc. 13.The car is unique in that two cars, a four-door and a two-door, were manufactured by the Ford Corporation with the same VIN number. Our car was restamped by the factory and carries a unique vehicle identification number. This has all been verified by the Washington State Patrol Asking Price: $8000.00 | |
