| DESCRIPTION |
| This 1975 Avanti II has the original 400ci Chevy V8 engine, which was recently rebuilt. There are 500 miles on the engine since the rebuild and there are 3 ½ years remaining on the warranty. A four barreled Holley carburetor, and 2 ½ inch exhaust manifolds were added to the engine for better breathing, resulting in more horsepower. The car also has true dual exhaust. The automatic transmission has an overdrive gear for much better cruising at high speeds. The engine turns at lower rpm, and the ride is much quieter than with the original transmission. A new shifter plate looks identical to the original, except for having a slightly longer slot for one more gear. The car is A/C equipped and all dash gauges work except for the clock. The power window motors were recently serviced, and the car is equipped with driving lights. The hog troughs are good, and the frame is in great shape. The interior is blue vinyl and cloth, and is also in great shape. There is only a tiny sun-damage crack on the dash, about half an inch in length, a small crack in the vinyl on the driver’s seat, and a dime-sized spot on the carpet behind the driver’s seat where the fibers are missing. The chrome and stainless steel trim are in great shape, but the body needs new paint. A passenger door side view mirror comes with the car, but has not yet been installed. The wheels are alloy, with Bridgestone Potenza tires, but the original wheels and wheel covers will come with the car as well. Also included with the car is the original build sheet. $17,100.
