DESCRIPTION
I have for sale this virtually Rust Free Big Block 1972 Monte Carlo. It has a 4700 mile rebuilt Chevy 454 inside (original 350 Car). The motor was just pulled out, checked and detailed along with the Trans (TH400) and reinstalled this past summer. It is detailed out in Chrome trim just like the SS versions were in 1970 or 71. It has factory A/C that works. It also has power steering and brakes. It has a Silver Blue paint job that was done a couple of years ago according to the previous owner. The paint is in great condition. There are some minor paint chips and some bubbles, but overall the paint job is excellent. Just had it professionally detailed, this body has very little rust on it. The trunk is solid as well as the floor pans, fenders and quarters. Minimal rust is the main reason why I bought this car. Most of the trim is in descent shape and looks original. I replaced the front windshield and removed the back one to check for rust in the channels. There is no rust in these two areas. The front and rear window trim fit is ok. The interior is in good shape with a cloth bench seat that looks to be original with some fading but no tears. The back seat is also original and in great shape. I replaced the carpet and the rear package tray. They are both brand new. The wood grain dash has been painted flat black and the dash has no radio at this time. The door panels are original and the headliner is in great shape. The wheels are Rally wheels and are 15s. The rubber is in good shape. It does not have wheel well trim installed. The rear end is not a posi but a limited slip with an approx (2.73 gears). It drives nice at highway speeds. This is not a race car by any means. It does have dual exhaust that emits a nice tone, but it’s not too loud. This car has been in heated storage this past winter at my shop. It is great start at a project car if somebody really wants a nice driver for shows etc.
