| 1963 Ford Thunderbird hardtop, ps,pb,pw, automatic. Silvermink with blue interior. 5year old restoration. 390/340 hp. This t-bird is a drive anywhere driver. There is absolutely no rust anywhere on this car. The floors and trunk are solid.The frame is straight and solid,having never needed any repair.The body is as straight as an arrow.The basecoat-clearcoat paint really shines.There is an awful lot of chrome on this car and it is all near perfect. All of the glass is perfect. The interior was redone and with a new dash pad,and new cloth and vinyl seats. The entire dashboard is beautiful with the original and still working very well, AM/FM radio.All electric windows work. All gauges and speedometer-odometer work. The console, door panels and armrests are all beautiful.The car has 111,000 miles on it,with aprox. 10,000 miles and 5years since the engine and transmission were rebuilt. The 390 engine runs smooth and strong at all speeds and is equipped with the optional thunderbird 340hp package. Just hit the gas peddle and youll see. The engine compartment is as clean as the rest of the car and the engine is detailed but not proffesionally. There are no leaks and it does not burn oil. The radiator and shroud are new with the restoration. The cruise-o-matic transmission shifts smoothly and when its supposed to. It kicks down instantly into passing gear when asked to and it has no leaks. Underneath the car youll find new brakelines, y-pipe, and muffler. Youll also see that there is no heavy undercoating to try to hide rust and other things. There are 5 new tires including the spare. The hub caps are the original factory correct thunderbird hubcaps with spinners and they are all like new. The trunk compartment is clean also with fresh paint and a new trunk mat. The trunk mat is not glued down so that you can see there is no rust. The 63 Thunderbird is a beautiful car which is quickly becoming very rare. I have well over $12,000 invested in this car to make it safe,beautiful, and dependable. The car can now be seen on page 12 of the October 2006 Hemmings.
