| DESCRIPTION |
| ONE OF A KIND 1932 CADILLAC V16 RUMBLESEAT ROADSTER This car is absolutely artwork on wheels! This is a classic 1932 Hand-Built Cadillac V16 Rumbleseat Roadster By Fisher. This unique prize of an automobile will surely be the centerpiece of even the most particular investor’s collection. The absolutely flawless rust-free frame-off restoration took several years to complete by a meticulous Concourse DElegance Judge as a labor of love. This exquisite automobile was originally constructed from a 1932 V16 sedan Chassis, body number 38 (Chassis Number 32-16-159), and a 1932 V8 Roadster Body number 32-8-155 (Chassis Number 32-8-155). This car is completely numbers matching from the two. Copies of the original build sheets will accompany this magnificent automobile. Outside of the three originals known to exist, this one of a kind vehicle will give any one of those a run for its money! The car was re-bodied between 1990 and 1992 and sold in January, 1993; 2) The frame-off restoration occurred over a period of time between 1993 and 1996 and driven regularly for pleasure and taken to shows; 3) the car was sold in Jan., 2000 to the owner immediately preceeding me who maintained it while displaying it in his museum; 4) I acquired it in August of 2002, took it to a couple of shows, drove it periodically, and start it regularly; 4) The car runs and drives well and has been started up every two to three months (it gets a lot of looks when I drive it to the gas station!); 5) The wheelbase is 143 inches; 6) The weight is between 5,500 and 6,000 lbs. | |
