| A very rare car , custom wide body, right hand drive,roadster, V-12 HI-performance engine.1978 JAGUAR XJS. originally converted to cabriolet in ENGLAND by ASTON MARTIN TICKFORD. Astons body shop over there.they took unfinished bodys off the assembly line and converted them into cabriolet, well I did not like the profile of the style and converted it into a full roadster, no top at all.I drive it around this way its cool, Im in the process of a removable clip on hard top. general opinion at car shows is very good from car enthusiests. It has the glove box sticker that says it is a 2 seater not a 4 seater as the original Jag. coupes were,no back seat. Engine is modified V-12, high compression pistons, moly rings, shotpeened con rods, cylinder heads ported ,polished oversize valves, race cams by CRANE CAMS INC. extrude honed inlet manifolds and plenums, twin oversized throttle bodys, K and N air filters, exhaust manifolds ported and ceramic coated, 2.5 dual exhaust into a single 5 tip. custom CRANE electronics ignition, ACCEL wires, An electronic standalone engine managment system SDS by RACE tech engineering, digital read out A/F ratio gage.12 new fuel injectors,custom aluminum fuel rails,SX adjustable fuel regulator, AERO_QUIP stainless lines TRANS: GM 700R4 4 spd. over drive just rebilt to HD specs upgraded components.B and M shifter, HD Aluminum drive shaft, HI-BIAS LSD rear axle, 3.92 r atio. This vehicle was compltetly restored on a ROTISSOIRE rollover unit,to better than new. engine, trans, and rear end fully rebilt as well as suspension, ball joints ,poly bushings, bearings, shocks , antirollbars HD. BRAKES: front upgraded to lite weight calipers 4 piston units, crossdrilled rotors, HAWK pads all around, crossdrilled rears,stainless flex lines, lite weight master cylinder. Interior: fully redone custom tan vinyl, RECARO leather seats, new wood dash and consol.
