Dual 3 exhaust spiral flow mufflers side exits, A little bit loud . aluminum reverse flow water pump multi-groove belt, Griffin aluminum radiator dual elec. Fans. Power steering, Power brakes Large oil cooler with dual filters stainless braided lines, A custom one off Crane HI-6R fully adjustable ignition system, crank trigger set up. Body T-Tops with vinyl carrying case, rear wing and factory fiberglass hood, 69 style scoop 454 emblems and dual air vents on top of hood, paint is the pace car silver and blue all factory original except the hood scoop. Factory decals are a little ragged but replicas are available. Roll bars 4 point . Interior is excellent condition pace car only, rare LEAR adjustable seats, silver vinyl, blue velour inserts. It has a Vericom perf. Computor like a G-tech. SONY CD , am fm head unit, sony speakers , 200 W amp in the trunk with a small boom box. Transmission GM 700R4 overdrive, 4 spd. Which is in the shop now for repairs doesn’t like 500hp and 550tq. It is being up graded with much HD components. Rear axle is GM performance race option assembly, HD positraction 3.92 ratio, disc brakes all 4 wheels again pace car only option. HD drive shaft and Ujoints. Trans. Mounts to a special sub frame for an improved mounting unit. KYB gas shocks large front , rear anti-roll bars polyurethane bushings, still rides good tho. Wheels were changed from factory to after market and they are a little dated also. Wish I had kept the originals. Perfomance is as you would expect , outrageous! Traction is always hard to get . and it handles quite well for the year , 0-60 4 sec. 0-100 10-11 sec. ¼ mile low 12s without traction, I have had it up to 170 mph. At 6500 rpm on tach, speedo stops at 140 pegs that easy, gets light on the front end about 155 but if you keep your foot in it settles back down, whew what a rush, fuel milage lucky if you could get 15 mpg with a light foot and that’s premium only, but it is all about performance, it looks it and sounds it. that BIG BLOCK sound is always a show off. It is a serious vehicle considering its age. If of interest, I rebuilt the complete car in my shop, and right now it shows a little dirty because its been in the back of the building collecting dust | |
