| DESCRIPTION |
| Engine: 440 block bored and stroked to 496 cu in, 13.5:1 compression. High torque starter. It has Eagle forged crank and Eagle forged rods. Hughes roller camshaft and roller lifters. Roller rockers, etc. Performer aluminum heads flowed to 300cfm. 1050 Dominator carb, MSD pro-billet distributor, coil and 6al ignition with rev limiter. Also has the MSD 2-step module selector and 3,000-5,200 rpm selector for launching rpm control when using trans-brake. 300 horse Nos system with MSD ignition retard control.. Aeromotive a2000 350 gph electric fuel pump, adjustable fuel pressure regulator with liquid filled gage. All fuel line is aeroquip/braded line type. Four core modine radiator with dual electric fan system. Aluminum elephant ear front motor mounts as well as stock engine mounts. ATI NHRA approved engine damper, TTI headers, TTI 3 exhaust with Y cutouts to quickly uncap system, flowmaster mufflers. Engine developed 724 ft. lbs of torque and 575 hp to rear wheels on dyno just on the engine, NOS was not installed at the time. Trans: two speed powerglide built by Mikes transmissions, Lancaster Ca. Transmission case is NHRA approved, needs no additional scatter shield. Trans yoke and 3rd member yoke are Mark Williams pieces. It has a transbrake. B and M megashifter. 4800 stall converter. Rearend: Strange ultimate 60 with 4:88 gears. Caltrac monoleaf springs. Adjustable Rancho shocks. General: Frame has been tied with connectors and complete roll bar built by Chucks Pro-street in Lakeside, Ca. Side bars at doors are bolted and pinned to swing out for easy entry and are easily removed for every day driving. Car originally had power steering but changed to manual for drag racing. It has 4-wheel disc brakes also manual for racing safety. New dual master cylinder with line-lock for burnouts. Fifteen gal fuel cell, battery and NOS in trunk. Battery on/off switch mounted by rear bumper. Summit high-back racing seats (adjustable fwd/back and tilt) with RJS 5-point harness with quick release aircraft style release knob. Rear was mini-tubbed and has weld prostar wheels with hoosier 29x14.5-15 quick time pro tires in rear, prostar wheels with 28x7.5 mickey Thompson tires in front. Driveshaft loop, Fire extinguisher, etc. Autometer tack. | |
