DESCRIPTION
The truck is a 1952, 5 window. It has a 4 bolt main 350 with Edelbrock intake and carb, and a turbo 350 trans. Rear end is a Ford 9 inch with 2:23 gears. Front suspension is 1979 Pacer (which was the heavier duty version) and has larger brakes, sway bar, etc. All components are rebuilt. It has power rack and pinion steering and a master power brake system with remote fill in the cab. It goes down the road like a sports car and stops on a dime. As you can see from the pictures it came out with an excellent stance and width. The fuel tank was removed from the cab and bedded between the frame rails and a fill door from a 71 Merc set into the right rear fender it looks stock. A receiver hitch is also mounted behind a fold down license plate in the rear roll pan. We started doing the interior with seats and console from a Pontiac Grand Am. The floor shift is operational and the electric windows operate from the switches on the console. I never finished the interior (headliner and door panel). Dash and engine compartment wiring need to be upgraded, which can be easily done with one of the kits that are now available. Also of note the truck has a vintage-air system power door locks with bear-claw latches a custom built 4-core radiator stereo system and the battery was moved to the engine compartment. I also have power seat bases for the cab.
