| DESCRIPTION |
| The vehicle is a 1971 Mach 1 Mustang, Dark Ivy Green Metallic, with argent stripes and argent spoilers (front and rear). The car is a numbers correct car and is a factory J code, 429 Cobra Jet Ram Air car. The motor was rebuilt and has around 6,000 miles on it (receipts for motor work available). The suspension was totally rebuilt and has 725 pound coils on the front with 4 leaf rear springs in the rear. The body has many new sheet metal parts, inner fender aprons both sides front and rear of the shock towers, new full length floor pans, rear inner fender tubs, quarter panel skins and new tail light panels. The vehicle window sticker goes with the vehicle at sale, and is believed to be the original. The interior is factory original black deluxe comfort weave bucket seats with gray inserts, and folding back seat. The car has a full length center console, full instrumentation (including tach- rear option on an automatic car); tilt rim blow steering wheel, power brakes, power steering, and automatic transmission. The car is a factory air conditioned car, however the compressor was disconnected and the lines were open when I purchased the vehicle. I reinstalled all of the pieces, but have not checked to see what is wrong with the system. The car has all factory style green tinted glass which is correct for an AC car. The windshield and side glass are perfect, and have been replaced with after market glass. The cars quarter windows are original and show some pitting. The rear window is correct and is original in very good shape. The trunk is in excellent shape and has no rust. The spare tire is a space saver spare with an inflator bottle. The car has a unique dealer installed option which is a lock on the space saver spare. There is also a decal in the back window advising of the lock. The only defects with the vehicle: is a minor transmission leak at the linkage shaft. Rust starting to pop on the door corners- both sides, the steering wheel is cracked, and there is a minor tear in the headliner. | |
