| Venomous
1966 “Cobra”
Now available for your consideration, is this beautiful 1966 Cobra recreation, engineered by Classic Roadsters of Fargo, ND. Affectionately called “Venomous”. This professionally built car features a full frame, with tubular front Coil-over suspension and Coil-over rear suspension, using 11” Power Disc Brakes all around. The 302 Hi Performance xxx Ford engine, w/ 9-1 compression, roller cam and rockers, MSD Electronic ignition, and a 750 Street Demon Carburetor, provide the muscle, with a Ford 5 speed transmission and a Ford 8.5” Posi rear with 3:75 gears, to get this Snake down the highway at 145 mph.. The cooling is provided by original Cobra Dual Electric Pusher Fans with an additional electric puller fan. Dual remote Oil Filters and the original style Mocal Oil Cooler. The Stainless Steel Headers and Mufflers provide the good looks as well as the perfect exhaust tone. There is an AM/FM CD unit, but I’d rather listen to the exhaust. All the door frames are steel, this allows for solid latching and no sagging at the hinges. The Roll Bar is there for serious business not just looks, attached to the frame for support. The body has a 4” stretch in the cowl area to allow for a taller driver. The body is flawless as well as the bright Yellow paint with the Black Stripes. The look of the car is clean with out the external hood latches and trunk latches. The interior dash is Wood that has been Steam Bent to follow the curve of the cowling, with a matching
Wood Steering Wheel. The upholstered Racing seats with Simpson 5 point racing harness, and full Carpeting and matching door panels add to this unique Cobra. A full complement of Auto Meter gauges keep all the vital information at the forefront. The doors also incorporate electric openers as well as manual. The vehicle sits on Boyd’s 9x17 and 11x17 Wheels shod with P255/45ZR17 and P285/40ZR17 Goodyear Tires. The full trunk area will allow luggage as well as the Racing Suit. There is a Glove box in the dash as well as door pockets. Nothing has been spared and only quality components have been used. There is only 1580 miles on the clock since its completion.
