| 1967 Austin Healey 3000, MK III (BJ8 engine)
The car is in excellent condition, former show winner, one owner (my father) the past 25 years. All original. He had the car restored, and more recently we had a fresh paint job, including the wire wheels, and engine rebuild. It is immaculate as you can see from the photos. Less than 10,000 miles since the restoration, less than 1,000 miles since the recent engine rebuild--BJ8 Engine, and paint work. The car is covered and in a heated garage, and has been rarely driven. The trunk was professionally upholstered, as you can see.
It has the original British Motor Corporation AM radio; factory overdrive; heater; stainless steel exhaust. We added the Sebring wing vents, identical to those used on rally cars to increase air flow to the engine and for cooling. This is technically not original, as they were not installed on production cars, but is a desirable for cooler running. We also added a vent under the dash to increase fresh, cool air to the cockpit. The stainless exhaust and upholstered trunk are also not factory original but desirable upgrades.
