DESCRIPTION
Hello, This 55 has over 80k in metal fab work. Every panel has been removed, jigs built, picked and filled straight using no fillers and tig welded back together. Custom touches: firewall, fender wells (not one straight piece) trunk floor to make room for exhaust to go over vette rear and to hold top mount style gas tank and stainless battery box built in. Gas door removed and left rear tail light hinged to hide new gas inlet, hood hindges re engineered in working prototype, door hinge in working prototype, hood bird, door handles, locks, some trim other than paint dividing removed, inside vents removed with controls, body mounts added to keep quarters straight, re-engineered to remove radiator core support! very clean hidden system, vette hydraulic slave cylinder for clutch, under floor brake system, nothing hanging on firewall, designed so nothing hangs below the frame. Sits right with new custom progressive frame and vette susp. Four wheel discs. The car sits mocked up with drive line installed and in black primmer. I have over 30k in new parts, Vintage air, wiper system, iditit tilt, painless wire, street & performance serp system, new ZZ3 with Arizona TPI system with over sized injectors polished Arizona speed and marine runners, programmable computer. New t-56 six speed, new drive shaft, new gas tank, new vette calipers etc. Cady 6 way power front seat. Vette suspension uses chrome coil overs in the front with front and rear sway bars. I have owned this car 23 years. It was my first car. I wanted to build it "right" but had no idea how much it would cost or how much time it would take. After $123,000 invested I need to move on. A good friend has been very generous and helpful but I can't finish it and it deserves to be finished. It's very close, just the personal choice things remain. I'm asking 50k for everything. I have the 123k plus the rust free car I started with and years of time invested. I have hundreds of photos and can answer you questions. Thanks, Randy 602-538-8328
