Here is a beautiful Mercedes SL Roadster from 1985. This rare 280SL model has been imported from Europe and is in great shape. The 280SL is somewhat similar to the North American offered 380SL but there are differences between the two. Most notable from an appearance standpoint is the absence of the ugly rubber bumper guards that adorn the 380SL models front and rear. The 280SL also features an inline six cylinder engine compared to the 380SL's V8 offering. Ironically, the inline six in the 280SL is actually rated for more horsepower (185hp vs. 155hp) and better fuel economy than the 8 cylinder 380SL.
