| 1982 Austin Mini (UK spec)I've owned this mini for 3 years and had it shipped over from England when I moved back to the states. I have two minis and don't have the space for all my cars so I am selling one of them. I'm sad to let this one go it is the best runner of the two but I am more attached to the other one. There is some rust which is normal for British minis but the body is very solid (see pics for detail). The under-carriage was re-welded a year ago along with a newer 998cc engine installed. The engine had 50,000 miles on it when installed and I am guessing that it is around 55,000 to 60,000 now (the odometer is not hooked up right so it reads incorrect). The car passed MOT in england about a year ago (MOT is the UK annual car inspection). If you are worried about parts don't, cause I know several places you can purchase from online. www.minispares.com, www.minisport.com, www.dsnclassics.co.ukThere is a anti-theft key in the trunk that you can remove and will disable the battery and not allow the car to crank untill the key is installed. You can see the key in the trunk picture, it is a red key to the right of the battery.The front rt shock is new, I just replaced it a few weeks ago.This mini gets 45-50 MPGComes with past maintenance, original show book, previous road tax discs (showing it's been on the road for years), and manual. If you are a car person and love to work on cars this is defiantly the car for you, there are so many upgrades and neat things you can do with these minis, you'll never get bored.
