| 1985 Honda VF1000R This classic 1985 motorcycle was originally purchased on Ebay and shipped to Southern California four years ago. It is in excellent condition with no dents or scratching. It has never been down and always garaged. While not in obvious showroom condition, it is still in very clean condition. Only 1000 miles on the tires and a new windscreen from Australia, with fresh paint on a majority of the bike; only the front fender has a very small wear spot on its side. The seat leather is not cracked or discolored by the sun. It is truly a very, very nice bike. The engine is dependable and strong like a locomotive, but there does seem to be some sort of very slow leak in possibly the coolant system somewhere on top of the engine. This bike is not ridden much, as I wish to keep it in good shape. There are many included parts and accessories such as; a spare lower fiberglass section, a freshly painted spare upper front fiberglass section, a spare tail/seat cowling in great shape, upper fairing cowling insert, a new spare UNI air filter, spare exhaust tubes and canisters, a complete original factory decal kit, new stainless steel brake lines (not installed), a black Targa tank bra, cat eye signals and original signals, and a Honda VF1000R shop manual. The intact fiberglass sections are hard to find as it is. There are not many of these particular motorcycles left in very good condition. It has 16,350 original miles, 1000 of which I have put on it in the last four years. A real head-turner!Full Financing Available!!! | |
