| DESCRIPTION |
| INDIAN CHOPPER MOTORCYCLE This is a one of a kind motorcycle. Built from the ground up by AJ’s Art Works, Columbia South Carolina. Everything about this chopper is special but in the old school tradition. You have to see it to appreciate the detail of the graphics in the paint. The seat is distinctive with an Indian Chief Head Monogrammed into the back of the seat. It has the hard tail look but soft tail comfort. The frame is raked out at 38 degrees. Handlebars are simple so as not to compete with or detract from the overall look. The paint job is artistic and distinctive. It starts with a base coat of Orian Silver. Then pure black over that. Color coat is Candy Brandy Wine by House of Color. A clear coat was sprayed on before the art work was applied followed by 3 coats of finish clear. The tank has the traditional Indian Head done with beautiful detail. The front fender has feathers surrounding a beautiful Indian Maid. There is also a skull ingeniously hidden in the Indian motif. The back fender has feathers trailing off over the curves of the fender. Even then oil tank has art work. The power plant is the Indian 100 Power Plus engine. It is bored .10 thousands over and fitted with a Ross 10 to 1 racing pistons. The output of this engine is 101 cubic inches or about 1700cc. There is a 400 lift cam to add to the engines muscle and fueled by a S and S Super G carburetor. The round jugs give the distinctive look of the old Indian Motorcycle. All this power is linked to the back tire by a 6 speed transmission. This one will take you down the road in style at a fast rate of speed. The back tire is a 240 with the traditional small or tricycle front time. Both were put on new in July of 07. Descriptions are great but nothing is like looking at this beauty. Call me if you would like to see and evaluate this machine for yourself. Jim Jones 520-678-3671. | |
