| Fully Restored, 383 Stroker!! This is a 1948 chevy fleetline from Arizona I bought this car 12 years ago and am the 2nd owner. Since I have owned it, the car has undergone a large transformation. Starting from the front to the back The grille has 22 pieces all of which have been romoved and rechromed. This car has a mustang II front end, rack and pinion, disc brakes. These are vaccum assisted brake booster. Limited slip posi traction rearend out of a camero, 10 bolt rearend. Solid aluminum 4 core radiator 48 fleetline specific. 180 degree thermostadt, stainless steel radiator hoses. The engine is 383 stroker motor with roller rockers and gear drive. There is solid aluminum motor mounts and engine carraige made by alston. Edlebrock aluminum, polished intake manifold. Edlebrock carb with hei distributor msd. Taylor black 8.5mm wires, solid aluminum wire housings. Holly electric fuel pump 8.5 psi, holly fuel pressure regulator set at 6.5 psi, 20 gallon fuel cell mounted in the trunk. Turbo 350 trans with a 2800 stall converter, b and m shift kit, b and m slap shifter. New rear springs and shackles, rear end out of a camaro with new calipers and pads. New two tone interior sat in mabey 10 times, The front seats are power on drivers side. The dash gauges are Dolphin guages. I Relocated the oil filter to the engine compartment. Shorty headers, or block huggers plus 2 and 3/4 inc exhaust with 40 series flowmasters and custom chevy emblem tips. This car has dyna mat lining under the carpet and on the roof line for sound dampening. This car has about 5 left to do it is a great hotrod and one good looker...... | |
