| 1978 Harley-Davidson FXEThis bike has had one owner,me. It has always been garaged and has not been ridden for the last two years due to a bum knee. Four years ago I went through it rewired the whole bike, put new tires, fenders, Mustang seat, battery, triple tree, gas tank, paint job, exhaust system, had the whole top end and carb rebuilt. Since then I have maybe put 1200 miles on it. It is full of chrome, has an electric start and a kicker.The only thing missing is the horn, I lost it. I never hooked up the speedo and the back right turn light is broken as seen in photos. Since it hasn't been ridden in a couple years the carb will need new gaskets beacuse the ones on now are dried out. It is the total perfect shovehead Harley. | |
