| The Trenton Donauschwaben cordially invite you to join us as a member of our club. Membership is open to those of Danube Swabian/German heritage and also to those who have an interest in its promotion and perpetuation. You are welcome to participate in club activities as much or as little as you'd like. In addition to the items shown on the Events page, we usually get together at the club after our Wednesday night German classes for a little gemtlichkeit. We hold meetings once a month, as well as a large meeting once a year. We now have a Autoklub also. Since we are an all-volunteer club, putting on the monthly dinners provides an opportunity for us to work together to benefit the club. Not only do many hands make light work, but friends working together turn the effort into a fun time for all. The clubhouse and grounds are maintained through member volunteerism as well. Everyone is happily accepted to help in any way they would like, and no one is under any obligation.Everyone is welcome to become a member. Of course, most of the benefits of membership involve visiting our clubhouse on a periodic basis. If you'd like to become a member, we'd like to meet you. Please come to our next event and speak with Club President Joe Brandecker or Club Secretary Hans Martini about joining. If you live far from Trenton, we encourage you to contact us regarding the location of a Danube Swabian Association in your area. We do have members from as far away as Florida, Georgia, California, New Mexico and Montana. They generally have family roots in the Trenton area. |
