| Welcome to the Cadillac and LaSalle Club (CLC) Potomac Region website. The CLC was founded in 1958 and has approximately 7,000 members worldwide. It is dedicated to the maintenance, preservation and restoration of all Cadillac and LaSalle automobiles and to the fellowship of its members. All vehicles built by Cadillac are recognized and enthusiasts do not need to own a Cadillac or LaSalle to be a member. Membership in the CLC entitles you to receive its award-winning monthly magazine, The Self-Starter, as well as its Annual International Membership Directory. The annual dues for the National CLC are $50 (first class delivery of magazine) or $35 (second class delivery of magazine). For more information, visit the CLC website.The CLC Potomac Region was established in 1969 and has approximately 200 members in Maryland, Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia, as well as a few in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The only pre-requisite for joining the Potomac Region is that you also have to be a member of the National CLC. Membership in the Potomac Region entitles you to receive its award-winning monthly newsletter, the Caddie Chronicle, as well as its Annual Membership Directory. The Region holds monthly meetings in different locations throughout the Washington DC area, and co-sponsors two car shows per year at Capitol Cadillac in Greenbelt, Maryland.Each year's fall car show is theme-related. In 2005, the theme was Celebrating V-12 and V-16 Cadillacs and the show attracted 91 cars, 11 of which were V-12s and V-16s. It is believed to be the largest gathering of V-12s and V-16s in Mid-Atlantic history and was featured in the February 2006 issue of The Self-Starter and the March 2006 issue of Hemmings Classic Car (see story).The 2006 theme was Eldorado Extravaganza: 1953-1966. Over 100 cars were in attendance, including 25 rear-wheel Eldorados representing each year except 1963 and 1965. The show, held on Sunday October 28, 2007 at Capitol Cadillac, attracted 90 cars, including 18 LaSalles. See over 130 pictures from the weekend event!
