| Our membership is a diverse group who all share the same sickness called Packard ownership. We are very social, as we get together for tours, technical sessions, parties or just about any excuse to share in our miseries or the contents of our coolers. We even help fix each other's cars (they are always breaking down), sometimes without making them worse.The club publishes The Sidemount, our award-winning (really),bi-monthly newsletter. In each issue are articles on members and their cars, technical information, historical tidbits, articles on club events, libelous innuendo, and classified ads, which are free to members.Sometimes we like to show off so we will present a car show from time to time. Also we often participate in other organization's shows such as the Grayslake AACA show, the Lake Forest AACA show, and the Orphan Car Picnic. However we no longer present the Cuneo Concours d? Elegance.To help with the aforementioned poverty situation POC also produces several items for sale.Club Projects include really cool insulated coolers as well as the famous anniversary afghan. |
