This 1978 Shovel Head (FXE Low Rider) has gone through a major overhaul from the ground up. This little jewel was disassembled right down to the frame. The frame was powder coated along with an after market oil tank and both stock wheels, which were polished after they were powder coated. The engine (Original 74 inch) was sent to an area custom bike shop where it received a major overhaul to the lower end with an upgrade to a high performance (Andrews) Cam. Top end was bored 10 over with new pistons and valve job. Old ignition was upgraded to electronic ignition along with a new Carburetor (SS shorty E). The transmission is the original 4 speed with the Kicker, which was serviced with new seals and gaskets. This bike has electric start as well. Bike was rewired with new switches. The seat is a LaPara bare bones seat. Rear brakes were upgraded with a new 4 piston rear caliper with rotor. Rebuilt front calipers’ with new rotors, both tires are almost new. All forward control s and speedometer are new. Goodies like rear sprocket, chain, exhaust pipes and chrome hardware are either Drag Specialties or Custom Chrome. New (fat boy) gas tanks and fenders just received fresh paint, Black with blue pearl mist. Have Receipts for parts and work done. Most work was done by me.
